Everything You Need for the Perfect Movie Night

Everything You Need for the Perfect Movie Night

Grab your friends, partner, or kids and get ready to create the ultimate movie night experience! Whether you’re hosting an outdoor backyard movie under the stars, reliving nostalgic moments indoors, or building an epic pillow fort for the kids, we've got you covered with all the essentials.

This time, let’s ditch the sugary sodas and opt for something just as delicious but much better for you. Live sodas are a fantastic way to introduce gut-friendly fermented drinks and probiotics into your movie night. Plus, they're incredibly versatile! You can use them to create fluffy Cokes, root beer floats, spicy mocktails, and more—perfect for setting the vibe. And of course, no movie night is complete without popcorn and tasty healthy gummies (we’ve got recipes for those too!).

Scroll down for the full recipes, and get ready for a fun, flavorful, and gut-friendly movie night!

ROOT BEER FLOAT

For a classic root beer float, grab a mason jar and add two scoops (or as many as you'd like) of vanilla ice cream. Then, pour in a can of live soda root beer! It's that simple and delicious!

FLUFFY COKE

For a fun twist on a classic, spread marshmallow cream in a glass or jar, then pour in a can of live soda fountain cola. Voila! A perfectly fluffy drink.

LIVE SODA GUMMIES

These gummies are a crowd-pleaser and so easy to make! You’ll need cute gummy molds, unflavored gelatin or pectin, honey, and some Live Soda.

HERE'S HOW:

1. Combine 2 cups of live soda with 8 tablespoons of grass-fed gelatin or pectin in a small saucepan.

2. Heat until the gelatin dissolves, then add 2 tablespoons of honey (optional) for sweetness.

3. Pour the mixture into your molds and refrigerate until set.

POPCORN

Make your popcorn extra special with a homemade caramel sauce made from Medjool dates. Simply blend Medjool dates with unsweetened almond milk and sea salt until smooth. Add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency. Prefer something quicker? Keep it simple with olive oil and sea salt—or grab Coop’s Salted Caramel Sauce for a pre-made option!
